Rented a room (in the apt. that I'm renting) on AirBNB. Deduct based on days the room is rentable or days it was rented?

I rented a room out in my 2 bedroom apartment for 2019 on AirBnB. There were multiple tenants. It was rentable for the whole year. However, there was only somebody in the room retning for 300 days of the year.

Am I able to deduct 50% of my rental expenses for the entire year since it was listed for rent always? or only 50% * (300/365days) since it was not always occupied?

    1) You will base your deduction on the days your room was rented or available to be rented

    2) Any expenses attributable to the rental portion alone can be 100% deducted, as long as there was no personal use of the rental space.

    2) The expenses for the whole house can be prorated to the rental portion based on square footage. For example, if your home is 2000 SF and the rented room is 200 SF, 10% of expenses like utilities, cable, internet, etc. can be allocated to the rental.
