required to login into Intuit when attempting to import Fidelity information

HI,

I was attempting to import year-end data from Fidelity.  In the "Financial Institution" list, I located "Fidelity Investments" and selected Continue.  

From the next window, I selected Continue to start import.  

I was promplted to login into my Intuit account.  Why does my import of Fidelity data require a connection to Intuit?  Is Intuit capturing a copy of my data?
