I accidentally posted an item on line A of investment sales on Schedule D How ro remove it?

If you indicated that you were planning to attach a statement to your return instead of providing the details, your best option is to return to the beginning of the Investment Sales topic and review your answers for each broker/stock sale.

Statements are usually required for summary sales entries or when you import Form 1099-B. You can either change how you enter the information or delete the brokerage entry and start over.
