Question

Schedule E keeps asking for royalties and income. I put 0 for royalties but it won't let me file until i correct it.

If you did not receive any royalties in 2023 then delete the Schedule E.

You may want to try two things if you have depletion on your Schedule  E.  Otherwise you can delete it as indicated by DoninGA.

  1. Remove the zero by using the delete key.
  2. Alternatively, try entering $1

Lastly, in this situation, first please try clearing the cookies and cache.   It handles many issues that seem nonsensical on a regular basis. 

  • Close your TurboTax return first.

Watch to be sure you are selecting 'all time' as example.  Do not use selections like 'last hour' for those browsers that give  you options.

Once this is complete open your return and continue.
