Should I use plus if i have rental property income?

You need to upgrade to Premium to enter rental property.  Sorry.

If you have rental property income and expenses and use the TurboTax online editions, you will need to upgrade to the Premium online edition.  The Premium online edition is the only online edition that supports Schedule E for Rental and Royalty properties.

"Plus" is an add-on package you can purchase with your TurboTax product that includes support from TurboTax Experts in addition to identity theft monitoring and more. See this TurboTax help article for more details. The decision as to whether to add Plus to get these features is yours.

As @VolvoGirl and @DoninGA have advised, you would need the correct version of TurboTax, now called Premium, in order to properly report rental property income and expenses.  

You can contact TurboTax from within the online program as follows:

1. Sign in to TurboTax Online.
2. Select the Help (question mark) icon from the menu to open the TurboTax Assistant.
3. Enter your question, or type in Talk to a specialist.
4. Follow the prompts to set up a call.
   • Free Edition (without PLUS) is not covered, so when you select Talk to a specialist, you'll be asked to add PLUS benefits first with Free Edition.
