Sold a mutual fund this year and made a 10K capital gain. How do I send my tax payment to the IRS for this?
Always been a W2 employee and my paycheck withholdings have always been sufficient to cover my tax liability. New territory for me.
You can make a 2023 estimated tax payment on the IRS payment website using Direct Pay - https://www.irs.gov/payments
