I manually entered multiple 1099-B stock sale line items, and inadvertently added one more blank line than I needed. How can I delete it? The return won't pass the error checks because there are blanks on the purchase date, sale date, etc. for that line. I can't find a delete icon and don't seem to be able to edit the form either to remove the blank line. 2024 Taxes

In TurboTax Premium Online, follow these steps:

Down the left side of the screen, click Federal.
Down the left side of the screen, click Wages & Income.
Click the down arrow to the right of Investments and Savings.
Click to the right of Stocks, Cryptocurrency, Mutual Funds, Bonds, Other (1099-B).
You will see an investment which Needs Review. Click the Review button.
At the screen Review your sales, select the Delete trashcan to the far right of the transaction line.

In both TurboTax Online and TurboTax Desktop, some customers may not be able to see the Delete trashcan to the far right without sliding the bar along the bottom of the screen to the right.

if you can't delete it. try this enter. void for the description. Enter dates example date sold 12/312024 and date acquired 01/01/2024. enter ZERO for sales proceed and cost and check that basis was not reported to IRS and not reported on 1099-B
