Can Turbo tax handle the subject: Tax Basis for 1031 Exchange Property converted to primary residence and after one spouse deceases? If yes, which TurboTax version? Deluxe seems not able. If anyone knows answer with specific reference backup, would be much appreciated.

Frankly, this scenario will be difficult, if not impossible, with any online version of TurboTax.

As a result, you should look for a desktop version and any of them will suffice since they all have the same forms and schedules. You may want to look at Premier if you need more guidance in the interview, but you will likely have to resort to Forms Mode in this case.
