Tax Year Prior to 2020: Anyone else have an issue with importing 1099-INT from Chase Bank?

Seems to be a new problem this year.  But every time I try to import my 1099-INT from Chase bank, I get an import not successful.  In past years, it has been no problem.

Anyone else having this issue?

Don't enter the bank name and don't try to import it.  It is just as fast and easy to manually enter it.  At the bottom pick Change How I enter my Form

Then on the next screen pick I'll Type it in Myself

You may need to enter manually at this point.

You can securely import your 1099-B, 1099-DIV, 1099-INT, 1099-OID, or 1099-R into TurboTax if your broker or financial institution is on our list of TurboTax Import Partners. If they're not, you can upload your form from your computer or type it in yourself.

    Here's how to import:

    1. Sign in to TurboTax and open or continue your return.
    2. Search for the name of your form (like 1099-B) and select the Jump to link in the search results.
    3. Follow the screens and you’ll be able to import your form.

Tip: Be sure to select the right financial institution or brokerage from the list. For example, several participating partners' names start with First National Bank and if you select the wrong First National Bank, you won't be able to import.

You can import up to 1,500 transactions from your financial institution in TurboTax Online.

Years later and it still does not work. And they keep suggesting "enter manually".

I believe at this stage they just need to add to description "cannot and never will be able to import from Chase bank" so people could decide whether they still want to pay.

Attempts for a total of 5 days!!

At times the change is initially successful, but trying to login the new password does not work.

This process needs to be updated

Also unable to import from JPMorgan Securities.  "Get Your Identification Code" box not operable!

    February 19, 2022

Yes.  The instructions are do click on the link to request the Security Password from J.P. Morgan Chase but there is NO link!  Clearly, this is a TurboTax issue.  How can it work if there is not link?

Please try this step again.  This should now be resolved.  If you are still having issues, please post here for the next steps.

I'm having a problem importing any information from JP Morgan Securities.  The "Get your identification code" does not work.

    February 20, 2022

    Same here

    February 20, 2022

C'mon Intuit!  This has still not been resolved.  The "Get Your Identification Code" button is still not working.

    February 22, 2022

When logging into Chase I receive a message indicating (that part of site not working, try again latter)!

This has been going on for at least a week.

I am using TT Deluxe to import my 1099b from JPMorgan Securities. The instructions are to obtain an Identity Code by clicking ‘Get Your Identity Code’ at the end of the instructions. There is no clickable area.  Anyone else have this breakdown?

    February 23, 2022

Completely unacceptable that these issues exist for both Schwab and Chase during prime tax filing season.  Don't lobby against tax filing reform if you can't provide a functional alternative, Intuit.
