Why won't Turbo Tax carry over a Capital Loss from Other Years to line 25300 to offset a Capital gain in 2023

    It's important you review and confirm the loss carryover. it's not clear why it may not have carried over automatically.

    1. Sign in to your TurboTax account and open your return by selecting Continue 
    2. Search for capital loss carryover, and then select the Jump to link in the search results.
    3. Select Yes on the screen Did you have investment losses you couldn't claim last year?
    4. Enter the info about your capital loss on the following screens.
    5. See the image below that allows you to Edit if necessary

    **Say "Thanks" by clicking the thumb icon in a post**Mark the post that answers your question by clicking on "Mark as Best Answer"
