Question

Turbo tax is telling me i need to upgrade because i need Sch D. All I have is capital gains passed thru from mutual funds. Is thus true ?

    TurboTax Online Deluxe does not support Schedule D.

     

    Capital gains distributions are reported on line 13 of Schedule D Capital Gains and Losses.

     

    This comparison of the TurboTax Online products (scroll down to Schedule D at the bottom of the screen) shows that Deluxe version does not support Schedule D Capital Gains and Losses.
