TurboTax not carrying over loss or depreciation for rental

We have had a rental property for several years and used Turbo Tax for even longer.

In previous years, Turbo Tax has used the data from the last return to carryover passive activity losses and depreciation information. But not this year! It's asking me to enter the information as if this is the first year we've used the program.

Is anyone else having this problem? How did you solve it?

If you're using TurboTax Online and your rental property information from last year is missing, we recommend that you clear and start over to let TurboTax transfer a fresh copy of your prior year information to your current return.

If you're using TurboTax for Desktop, create a new return and transfer your prior year information again.

Otherwise, your only option is to enter the prior year information manually into the related topics in TurboTax.
