TurboTax versions PC to Mac

Previously I did my taxes on PC version if TurboTax. This year I’m thinking to do it on Mac. Can the files be imported properly? And secondly any specific hardware requirement needed to support?

    You have to have the *.tax2021 data file from the 2021 return in order to transfer the prior data into a 2022 return.   The 2021 data file can be transferred into either version of 2022 TurboTax--PC or Mac.

     

    For tax year 2022, desktop TurboTax (CD/download) requires MacOS BigSur 11 or higher to install. (Catalina 10.15 is not supported.)

    And....if you are using the download--make sure you choose the download for Mac.   When you use an actual CD on a computer with a disc drive, the disc has the Windows and Mac programs, but if you get the download you need the one for Mac.
