Question

Tutbotax online is depreciating foreign rental property over 27.5 yrs instead of 30 yrs. I entered the foreign address in property information. How do I correct that ?

Go back to the beginning of the Property Profile page and work through that section. One of the screens has a selection for you to indicate it's foreign rental property. You need to select that option.

After you select it, finish working through the Property Profile section until you get to a screen with a DONE button on it, and click that button. For some things, changes don't "take" until you click the DONE button at the end of the section you're working on.
