Unable to file taxes, getting error message on schedule E worksheet for rental income

Put in appropriate zip code, getting message that I must enter a valid ZIP code

Sometimes it will say there is a "zip code error" when it's actually something else wrong with the address, such as state or city.  

 

Be sure you didn't choose the wrong state abbreviation in any dropdown menu.   It's easy to select wrongly from states such as AK, AL, AR, AZ or MA, ME, MI, MO, MS, etc.

 

TurboTax also sometimes doesn't like punctuation.  Try entering the address without any punctuation, such as

1234 N St Marys Ave
