My property management service sent me a 1099-K to report rental income but when I try to enter a 1099-K in TurboTax, it assumes it's Crypto. The next screen says "select your crypto experience" (import v upload). What am I missing?

I recommend entering your rental income activity and posting the income directly within the Schedule E Supplemental Income and Loss.

In TurboTax Online, access the rental income activity by following these steps:

    • Down the left side of the screen, click on Federal.
    • Down the left side of the screen, click on Wages & income.
    • Click the down arrow to the right of Rentals, Royalties, and Farm.
    • Click to the right of Rental Properties and Royalties.
    • At the screen Your 2024 rentals and royalties summary, click the pencil to the right of the rental income activity.
    • At the screen Here's rental property info, click Add income under the Income category.
    • At the screen Select your type of income, select Form 1099-K.
