Where do I enter a sold rental property that was not rented during the 2018 year?
I sold my rental property in 2018 as a short sale, No proceeds were received from the sale by me. The home was NOT rented out at all in 2018. When I'm completing the rental section of turbo tax, it deletes it from that section since it was not rented out during 2018. Where do I enter the short sale of the property. I was thinking I would enter in in the business section under sale of rental property. Please advise ASAP
