where do I enter prepaid private activity interest?

The interest income from these bonds is generally exempt from federal income tax.  However, they are subject to the Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT).

Specified private activity bond interest dividends are reported on box 13 of an IRS form 1099-DIV.  To report in TurboTax Online, follow these steps:

1. Down the left side of the screen, click Federal.
2. Down the left side of the screen, click Wages & Income.
3. You may need to click Add more income.
4. Click on the down arrow to the right of Investments and Savings.
5. Click to the right of Dividends on 1099-DIV.
