  • Login to TurboTax Premier online
  • Click Take me to my return
  • Click Federal Taxes
  • If you have already start entering information on your rental property, click Edit/Add next to Rental Properties and Royalties. Click Start next to Rental Properties and Royalties if you need to start entering your rental property information.
  • Continue to answer the questions until you reach the Rental and Royalty Summary screen. Click edit or Add 
  • In the Review Your Rental real estate Rental Summary, click Start or Update next to Assets/ Depreciation.
  • Click Yes to the question Do you have assets for this property that can be depreciated? on the Depreciation for Your Rental Property screen.
  • Continue through the screens to continue adding the information.
