Question

Where do I enter the purchase price and the sale price for my sold rental property?

From the Schedule E Rentals screen, go into the Summary for that specific property (click Edit next to that specific property.)

 

From the list of options, select "Update" on "Property Profile" the first option.

 

Continue through the first two screens of questions and on the third screen you will see a list of options and the second one down is a checkbox you will check that says "I Sold or Disposed of this home in 2019."

 

Once you check the checkbox that will prompt TurboTax to ask you the questions about sales price etc.
