Where do I enter withheld state tax from a rental property sale?
I sold a renal property in 2019 that had been rented for 22 years. When we closed the sale, the title company debited $14000 for California withholding.
In the rental asset section I was able to enter commissions and sales expenses, but there wasn't an area to enter prepaid taxes for the sale.
Should the withheld taxes go in the asset section or somewhere else?
