where/how do I report the sale price of a rental property

    You will need to make entries in two different places.

     

    Refer to the TurboTax Help article I sold my rental property. How do I report that? for the navigation instructions.

    When you click start next to the depreciation section you should see the list of items being depreciated for your rental property.  Click the house that was sold and it will walk you through the sale of the home.
