WHICH TURBOTAX SOFTWARE DO I NEED TO GET TO REPORT RENTAL INCOME & EXPENSES ON NEW HOME I BOUGHT?

    You need online Premium or any version of the desktop download.  All versions of desktop software have all the forma and schedules.

    If you are going to use the TurboTax online web-based editions for tax year 2024 you will need the Premium edition - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/online/premium/

     

    If you are going to use the TurboTax desktop download editions to be installed on a personal computer, Windows or Mac, you can use any of the desktop editions.  All the desktop editions include the same forms, schedules and worksheets.  The Premier edition would be recommended but not required - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/cd-download/
