Why am I required to fill out new job/investment credit if I don't have a new job and haven't made any investments? It will not let me efile w/o a value of 1 or higher.

I have no idea what it even means and can't find anything on this website, nor online. The place I work for was bought by another company, so wondering if that could be the issue. Even so it also wants me to fill out an investment credit and several "miscellaneous" credits and will not let me proceed past this point, even though I should not have credits in any of those fields.

If you are being asked about credits you don't have, delete any entries you have in those sections. Click on edit next to that section, and answer NO. You don't have to go through any section that does not apply to you. Delete the following forms if you don't have investment credits or job credits: 2106 and 3468.
