Why did my 2022 Premier TurboTax not include my rental property mortgage interest on my Schedule E when the 2023 does?
When I completed my 2023 filing, it asked for my rental property's mortgage interest and included in on Schedule E. It also said that my 2022 amount for this was $0. So I went into my 2022 filing and I see that it said in the Schedule E section that the interest isn't qualified unless it is for a primary or vacation home. Why is it saying this? Should I file a 2022 amendment to include my mortgage interest on my rental property?
