Question

Why does My 1099-DIV not show anything in box 2a for capital gains but when I exported it into turbo tax a figure of $2024 showed up there?

    It is possible that the form was corrected by the company issuing it. I suggest you contact the issuer for a current copy of the form. If not, you will need to edit the entry to reflect the correct amount.
