Why does Turbo Tax insist that we need to fill in Line 4 - Royalty Income, if we don't have any royalty income?

Without knowing the full text of the message you received, it's difficult to know which form has the Line 4 in question.

 

However, have you reviewed all Rental Properties to be sure they are designated as Rental and not Royalty? Also, review all Forms 1099-MISC in case the income was reported in the wrong box.
