How do I record a worthless stock when the brokerage I purchased the stock with has been absorbed by another brokerage twice. I have a 1099B from the second brokerage showing a sale on 2/2/2024 of 1 share (I bought 125 shares in 2003) with a 0 cost and 0 gain/loss. Can I add the correct details for date acquired and cost basis?
