Adult child stimulus payment

I claimed by adult child as a dependent in 2018 since she graduated from college that year. She was not claimed in 2019. She filed a separate return and received her tax refund and I filed a 2019 return not claiming her. She has received a tax refund direct deposited into her account in April. My daughter has not received a stimulus payment yet. Is there a possibility that the 2019 filing was overlooked and stimulus eligibility was based on the 2018 return? How do we get this adjusted? IRS has given her mixed answers that it is based on 2018 filing and also just 2019 filing. Everything I read is that it is based on 2019 filing and only on 2018 if there is not 2019 filing.

Most likely they haven’t gotten to her check yet. She can get her status here:

Thank you for your response. The site has continued to say "Status unavailable". Do we just wait or is there anything we can do?

Be patient. The good news is that if for some reason she doesn’t receive payment this year she can get it when she files her 2020 tax return next year.
