Anyone who updated DD info get their Stimulus check yet?

Been trying since the 15th to put in my Direct Deposit info and kept getting error messages until this morning it finally worked. Some people I saw were still waiting for it several days later n I'm just wondering if anyone that had to enter their info received their Stimulus check yet?

I was able to use the IRS portal to enter my direct deposit info on Wednesday morning. Today the site finally updated and says my stimulus will be mailed to me on 4/24. What was the point of updating our banking info on the portal if I updated it the day the portal opened and I'm still stuck waiting on a paper check?

I've been out of work almost 6 weeks already, and have had no money for weeks. Thanks to turbotax using a 3rd party bank I am now stuck waiting for a paper check! We needed this money for food and laundry. After 10 years I will NEVER use turbotax again

Nope but what was the form number to file NOT Your 2019 federal tax forms with but to just put in the banking information to make sure we would have DD? I need this please Thanks for any help with this.

@heavy2963 it's not a form number to supply the IRS. Simply go onto the IRS website and theres a button that says Get My Payment. From there it will ask you to confirm your Social security number, DOB, and address. Then if you are eligible for a payment you can enter your bank info as long as they are able to verify your identity. Hope this helps!!

Ok well idk about everyone's each individual issue, just curious if anyone who updated their DD info got their check yet not about issues irrelevant to my question. There's tons of separate issues n glitches but not what my post was about.

For those of you who entered your bank account information through the Get My Payment portal and was told you’d get a paper check mailed; The IRS is working on theses issues with companies such as H&R Block, Turbo Tax, and Jackson Hewitt. Hopefully we can check Monday and see some good news. Fingers crossed for all in the same situation.

No I updated mine last week and still says when they updated information I get a date for deposit

I entered mine on Wednesday. Been getting the same 'we'll update when your DD is available' message. I have my fingers crossed that mine doesn't change to paper check. First time filing with TT in years. First my return gets caught up, which I still don't have. Now my stimulus is in the balance. I won't be using them EVER again.

Nope! I have used TT for the last 10 years with the same bank account. For whatever reason I had to update my bank info on the 15th and as of today it still says I’m eligible and will be notified when they get the deposit date

Me as well. It has said the same thing since last Wednesday. And when I have searched online I can’t find anything related to the problem we are having.

Yes I've searched online for answers since yesterday but nothing. Everything seems very sketchy to me. I will NEVER use turbotax again. I hope that everyone decides to boycott TT and their business never recovers. They have proved that they couldn't care less about their customers so let's make sure they dont have any!

Well I put my DD info in they day after the link became available and I get the same message when I check the status of my payment. I'm hoping it mean I will receive a direct deposit on April 24th instead of them actually mailing me a check. Ugh. I started the bank account just to receive this payment.

Mine still says they cannot determine eligibility so I have not even been able to put in any DD info....I have no idea what is going on with mine. So frustrating

I will never use Turbo Tax again, or recommend them to anyone. Filed Feb 15th 6 weeks went by finally found out form 8962 was missing. Called IRS & FAXED that and 1095 A. That was another 6 weeks ago. Where's my Payment says cant DETERMINE ELIGIBILITY. PLUS TURBO TAX CHARGING ME $230. When it should of been Free. I made $22,000 last year.

To all TT users, that had advances or fees taken out of their refund, through direct deposit, will receive a check, if you have already did your 2019 taxes & have DD information on file, no matter if you updated it or not, the information can not be change you will be mailed a check. I was in the same boat as all, I had my fees taken out my refund, I also had my DD information on file I used a TurboTax prepaid card, the IRS sent my stimulus check to the DD information I had on file, I was locked out the system for 3 days, then Saturday came & it stated a check will be mailed on the 24th, so to answer everyone's ? We will receive checks mailed, 5 million checks will be mailed once every Friday, starting with the lowest income to highest, til everyone has received their checkn You're only able to put in DD information if you haven't filed taxes for 2018 & 2019 it states it on the IRS site.

I updated my bank info on 4/16. My get my payment still shows they will direct deposit it and update when a date is available. I also found one article stating that if you update tour bank info by Thursday, you would receive a deposit the next Wednesday. Guess I’ll find out tomorrow.

Hi. The IRS had said before they would be issuing the stimulus payments, (direct deposits and checks) in waves. The first wave, last week was like 50 or 80 million. This week, the next tens of millions will be sent off, then the.following week. So basically one day each week the IRS will send tens of millions of payments to people all at once....Now for ur specific question the Treasury Ways and Means Committee said that if you update ur direct deposit information by a Thursday of one week, u will have the payment in your bank account the following week friday at the latest. If you updated your direct deposit info last week when the site opened on wednsday or Thursday (15th or 16th) then you will have your payment this weel by friday (the 24th). The IRS actually sends the payments to individual banks as soon as tomorrow, but then depending on how your bank processes the payments to each account, it may take them a day or two, whoch is why IRS is saying this weeks rounds will be in personal accounts by Friday the latest. Hope this helps.

Updated DD info on 4/15 around 10am.

As of today , 4/22 , I still have the generic 'we will update you with DD date' .

I also will NOT be using turbo tax next year. I have reached out to my local news stations, only because I would like more light shined on this issue. It seems like its only effecting those of us who woke up early to check the portal and had to enter their bank information. Wishing the best for all of you.

I’m having the same problem. I updated my dd using the turbo card last Wednesday and it said it accept it but when I track it, it is still saying I’m eligible for the payment and it will updated when I have a payment date. I have had so many issues with this card since I’ve had it and knowone will help they just keep lying to everyone. My card is in the trash now. I even had it to where i had my paycheck deposited on the tt card but I just switched to chime. Everyone who needs a good card to load on switch to chime it’s awesome! Btw after 7 years of filing with tt they have also lost my business. I don’t like like liars 🙎
