API to obtain filed tax returns

Hi, is there an API available to obtain tax returns that were filed with TurboTax? Would be amazing to be able to get clients pull their returns easily. Thanks!

No, there is not an API and due to the sensitive nature of a tax return it doubtful that there ever will be an API.

TurboTax users who complete and file a tax return using the online editions can always access the returns by signing onto their online account with the same User ID and password that was used to create the account.

TurboTax users who complete and file a tax return using the desktop CD/Downlead editions always have the return available on the computer where the TurboTax software was installed.

Clients? You can not use the Online versions or the personal Desktop Software to prepare returns for clients. Intuit has 2 products for tax preparers. They are Lacerte and ProSeries. ProSeries is the least expensive. You can install ProSeries and Turbo Tax on the same computer.
