I had to file a paper return because i didnt receive my IP PIN from IRS. My return still hasnt been processed and wont be for a while apparently. My question is since my return wont be processed for a while will i still receive my stimulus payment?
If you filed a 2018 tax return, the IRS would use the information from your 2018 return for the stimulus money. If you did not file a 2018 return, then you would have to wait until the IRS processes your 2019 return to receive the stimulus money this year.
If for some reason your return does not get processed (or you didn't file a 2018 return), then you can get the stimulus money with your 2020 return (filed in 2021).
