What happens if I file for my taxes, and then someone claims me as a dependent after I get the stimulus check? So can I get the check and then have someone claim me?

there is the question on YOUR return that states CAN someone else claim you? how did you answer that? if you answered "no" who is this person that is now going to claim you and why? if you answered 'yes', you are not eligible for the stimulus payment. 

 

if you do what you are asking knowingly, that would be fraud..... 

 

 

what is the real question?
