Question

stimulus check, IRS application form for direct deposit

The form for  putting in your direct deposit information for receipt of the stimulus check is confusing in one section.  It asks if you got a refund or owed tax, then asks the amount. I overpaid by several hundred dollars but applied the overpayment to my 2020 estimated tax. That leaves the amount refunded to me as 0. My form is not going through, so I'm wondering how to fill in those sections, since I technically did not receive a refund.

Have you tried entering the amount of refund you would have received had it not been applied to next year's tax?
