Stimulus over payment.

the irs paid me the stimulus payment twice.  what can i do to fix this?

    Keep it?   They’ve shorted a lot of people that have kids.  Including me. No one seems to be able to get answers on getting any of it fixed.

    After some research, I am thinking they paid My husband and my self separately even though we filed jointly

    If they paid you both the $1200 then you should be fine, as you'd just get $2400 together normally when filing joint.

    But consider yourself lucky, I haven't received any payment.
