Use Tax question

I bought some solar equipment from a Texas company last year without paying taxes.  Since I am claiming a 30% solar rebate, I need to add the tax amount and report I have use tax to pay.  I live in California,  how much is the rate?

    The use tax rate depends on the your local tax rate at the time of the purchase.
