I have NetFiled my return but my tax form was not saved when I asked it to save a pdf copy. I tried to print my form and it won't print.  When I go to the print screen and try to print or save, I get a popup stating:

At the time of manufacturing this product, the government had not finalized all of its forms.
You will require a final version of your form(s) prior to submitting your return(s).
You can obtain the final versions as they become available by selecting Check for Updates from the Help menu, any time after beginning of Jan, 2025.

I have the latest updates.  This is on Turbotax 2024

I am facing same issue

It might possibly be that Turbo Tax is waiting for an update regarding the Capital Gains. I noticed that in my forms I have Schedule 3 which refers to Capital Gains even though I did not have any. For some reason Turbo Tax thought I had sold my house...which I did not. Thus I can't print until the updates related to schedule 3 are provided, apparently later in March according to Turbo Tax.

@gordsown Please try clearing the unneeded form and then closing unused forms. You can find those options under Edit>Forms in the top menu.

@mrpancake These forms are still locked by CRA & RQ and not finalized by yet. Please refer to this link Why does TurboTax say my forms are locked or haven't been finalized?

We do not have any ETA on this yet but as soon a these forms gets finalize we will be updating them in TurboTax.

We appreciate your patience.

I have the same problem. I can print the federal form for my records but I can't print the Quebec return for my records. I can, however, print the Quebec TP1 by itself - again for my records. Error message is the same as for gordbiz. It's now March 13 - time for this to be fixed.

I think the issue is with the Schedule 3, if your return doesn't require Schedule 3 then it will be fine.

TurboTax needs to allow this, as far as I know CRA will make change to the capital gain starting from Jan. 01, 2026.

Schedule 3 is still locked by CRA and not finalized by CRA yet. Please refer to this link Why does TurboTax say my forms are locked or haven't been finalized? That is the reason you cannot print your return.

We do not have any ETA on this yet but as soon a these forms gets finalize we will be updating them in TurboTax for an accurate calculations.
