My 2022 goal is to make sure I have enough steak to save up and to have my forever home. I would like to Have at least $2500 saved in different places on different  cards all for emergency funds. I would like to be back in the 600 club close to 700. I would like to have all my credit cards down by 30% to not damage my credit scores. And I would love to at least pay off three student loans this year.

I've been using Mint to track my investments, spending, and net worth for several years.  Last year I retired so income has changed substantially.  Now, we have changed focus and the new spending charts are really helping.

My goals for this year are to focus on spending and track investments closely to maximize net worth.  While the stock market hasn't helped, I'm glad to have Mint to help me keep track of every dollar.

Turbo Tax again in 2023

February 10, 2022

With the pandemic, and a change in careers, my 2022 financial goals look a lot different than they may have a couple years ago. I'm currently in between careers, working as an Uber Eats delivery driver, and this is my first year filing taxes as a "self-employed" contractor. Although Turbo Tax makes doing taxes easy for me, I've learned I need to track my business expenses like gas and other vehicle expenses. I also want to start putting aside a third of my income to save for tax time. This will help set me up for success as a future real estate agent next year when I do my taxes!

After looking through my bank statements for tax purposes, I also want to start spending my money more intentionally. I want to allocate portions of my spendings towards different goals: savings, self-care, entertainment, and reoccurring bills. If i do this, and stick to it, I'll be in a much better position next year, and have built more confidence by sticking to my plan! Thanks for considering me. My main intention for entering this was because I heard somewhere that if you write down your goals, the chances of your actually achieving them increases by a lot!
