I don't have an ITIN or social. I am attempting to file my taxes to apply for an ITIN. However, I accidentally put in the ITIN of my employer and now I cannot remove it to file.

You won't be able to efile your return no matter what if you do not have a Social Security number or ITIN.  There is a workaround.  In the beginning, under Personal Information, you will review/edit your entries to re-enter your Social Security Number.  If unable to find this section, you may start over, following the instructions in this Help Article:  How do I clear and start over in TurboTax Online?

In the area where the program asks you to enter your Social, you must make up a number, such as 999-88-9999.  Since you cannot efile the return, this made-up number will not matter.  Once you complete the return, you will white out any pages where that fake number appears and write the words "ITIN Applied" instead.

Outside of TurboTax, you will need to prepare Form W-7.  Along with Form W-7, you must attach your original, unexpired identification documentation.  For more details, including where to mail the return, please see this IRS website:  How do I apply for an ITIN?  If you do not wish to mail in your passport or other identification documentation to the IRS (they do return it, although it does take a few months before they do so), that same link above describes alternatives.

Expect the entire process to take about 4 months right now.  But if you successfully obtain your ITIN this year, you will be able to e-file next year.  And one more point:  if you have dependents, it would be good to have your return in the mail and postmarked no later than April 18th so the IRS will consider it on time.
