1040, line 4b Problem with program: IRA Distribution amount not appearing.

On line 4a of 1040 my total IRA Distribution (RMD) is correct; I have also entered QCD in worksheet, but line 4b incorrectly says "0" (zero)  How do I get line 4b  to record my IRA distribution minus the QCD?

So tell us what the distribution amount from the IRA was (box 1 of the 1099-R), and how much you told TurboTax was for charity. Also are you using TurboTax CD/download or Online?

I am using the download, not online.  I have four IRA accounts. The total from box 1 of the 1099-R does appear ion 1040 line 4a.  The QCD came from one account and was reported correctly on the worksheet.  I would prefer not giving you amounts.  I've done this for several years and have not had any problem with the program. I also tried it by reporting no QCD and I still get 0 for total on line 4b.

Did you have more than one 1099R?  Is  the 1099R for more than just the QCD?  After you enter the 1099R do you get this screen?  Oh and have you updated your program?  Go up to Online-Check for Updates.
