1099-g, covid related unemployment is not taxable up to $10200. taxes were not withheld on my 1099-g, but turbo tax is adding total compensation as taxable income.

does turbo tax have an exemption for this income?

TurboTax adds it to your income, and if your modified adjusted gross income (AGI) is less than $150,000, TurboTax also makes an adjustment to subtract unemployment benefits, up to $10,200.
