I received 1099 Misc From my former employer as a retiree benefit. The amount is $26 that they have estimated is the benefit of the UAW GM LEGAL services. I have read other replies, but TurboTax deluxe 2024 is still counting it as business income and wants to file a Schedule C. Please help. TIA

This can be filed as Other Miscellaneous Income

    1. Sign into your TurboTax Online account
    2. Go to Tax Home (left panel)  Wages and Income  section
    3. Scroll to  Less Common Income > Select  Miscellaneous Income, 1099-A, 1099-C
    4. Select Other reportable Income > Enter a description (----) and the amount
