1099-R from Defense Finance and Accounting. The Turbotax program is asking about the "RMD check box." This is not an RMD, but I cannot get past this question.

This question is in the "review" section of the program. The 1099-R is retirement pay, not an IRA, SEP, etc. Why is the program asking this?

    If your 1099R is for a pension you need to say it was all RMD.  That is all you need to say about a pension in regard to RMD.
