Question

1099-R screen will not update 2024 information even though it has been reviewed

I have updated my 1099-R income and can't get it to update for 2024 on the screen.  It keeps saying needs review.  I deleted all of the 1099-Rs and reentered all data again.  It still says Review.  I cannot get a total review because it won't update.

    First, make sure your program is updated.  This can be done by logging into your desktop product.  Select Online in the menu on the top, and then select Check for Updates.

     

     

    If that does not update your program, you can also manually update your program.

     

    If you are using TurboTax Online, try clearing your cache.

     

    Next, follow the steps in this link to get to the 1099-R input section.

     

    Once there, select Update to the right of IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R).

    • This will take you to the screen with all of your 1099-R entries.  
    • You should be able to select edit to the right of each applicable 1099-R.
