1099 write offs

earlier this year I worked on a 1099 and I have right offs still that continue throughout the year from the job. I had that I’m still paying on and that I can use for write offs if that right off is more than what I made. would I get any money back or would it be 0?

Do you mean you were self-employed and will receive a 1099NEC?

If you have self-employment income for which you will pay self-employment tax for Social Security and Medicare, you will need to use online Premium software or any version of the desktop software download so that you can prepare a Schedule C for your business expenses.
