1099g prior year benefits repaid
where do i claim this unemployment i had to pay back?
Go to the topic where you would enter unemployment that you received in 2015. After it asks you about unemployment benefits that you received, it will ask if you repaid unemployment benefits that you received in a prior year, even if you didn't receive any unemployment in 2015. Here are the steps to get to the right place.
- Click the Federal Taxes tab.
- Click Wages & Income.
- Click "I'll choose what I work on" or "Jump to a full list."
- On the screen "Your 2015 Income Summary," click the Start, Update, or Revisit button for Unemployment. It's right below Wages and Salaries.
