I received a 1099r for a 401k rollover to a regular IRA should I amend , They have already accepted the return.

Yes, you should amend, even though the results will not change. The IRS will not know the funds were rolled over unless you show that on your tax return. It takes them some time to complete the reconciliation however, you can expect a question down the road.
