I had a 403b account with TIAA when a university professor. On retirement, I converted $10,000 of it into a small annuity that pays $562/year. When I declare the annuity on Turbotax, I get stuck on a page that tells me at the beginning "Form 1099-R (TIAA Administrative Services LLC): Type of account should not be selected for this distribution: a) no entry, b) type IRA, c) type 403b, or d) type other. When I choose 'no entry', it later insists that I need to select a type. If I select any of the 3 types, it tells me that I need to select 'no entry'. This is no longer an IRA or 403b and does not have RMD. What should I do so that Turbotax will stop telling me that I have not provided adequate information.

Have you tried deleting and reentering your Form 1099-R?  If not, I suggest you try that.  Do not import/download it, enter it manually.
