457(b) rolled into an IRA but NOT a Roth IRA.

I have a 1099-R  from a 457(b) account that was rolled into a regular IRA after I retired.

The instructions ask if it was a Roth IRA but not if it was a regular IRA.

How do I answer?

For a code-G Form 1099-R, when you answer No to the questions that ask if the distribution was rolled over to some kind of Roth account, TurboTax automatically treats the distribution as a rollover to a traditional IRA or to a traditional account in an employer plan without any need to make that explicit.

Answer "No, this money wasn't rolled over to a Roth IRA account."

You are able to have rolled it into a regular IRA, the program asks if it was rolled into a Roth because then the program would need additional information.
