If you contributed, it should show on your W-2. If you had a distribution, you would include Form 1099-R.

 

A 457 (b) retirement plan is a lot like a 401 (k) or 403 (b) plan. A 457 (b) plan is offered through your employer, and contributions are taken from your paycheck on a pre-tax basis, which lowers your taxable income.

Enter amounts shown in box 12 of your W-2 only in box 12 of TurboTax's W-2 form, nowhere else in TurboTax.
